Queen of Spades™ — progressive poker with concealed values

Queen of Spades is classic poker redesigned for mobile play. Familiar poker rankings are preserved, while the traditional board holds two commitment points — creating anticipation and double tension. Premium spades — Jack, Queen, King and Ace — remain concealed until showdown, and any winning hand in which one contributes to the final scoring combination pays double. 

The Game

Queen of Spades uses standard five-card poker rankings within a new Structure of Play centred on progressive valuation and commitment before the final showdown.

The player and dealer each receive three hole cards. The player must then fold or raise x1 before a fourth hole card is dealt to each hand. Based on the four-card hand, the player must again either fold or raise x1 before the fifth and final hole card is dealt.

Premium spades (J♠, Q♠, K♠ and A♠) are dealt with their suit visible but their rank concealed until showdown. Any winning hand in which a concealed premium spade forms part of the final scoring combination pays double.

The player must hold One Pair or better and beat the dealer to win. Equal hand values push. There is no dealer qualification requirement.
